Q: How does Mixed Paint Media work?
A: We set up a schedule to cover events on a regular basis.
Generally, we come to a location and shoot the entire day or event.
Generally we are able to upload the photos, build the web pages, and
post them on our web site within 1-2 business days.
Q: Does it cost anything for you to cover our game?
A: Not at this time, we can adjust our schedule to cover the entire
day and or event. We just ask that you let other members of your
team know that we will be there in order to continue to offer this
service for free.
Q: How do I order pictures?
A: All event photos are posted in a separate gallery making it easy
to review all photos from that day. You can order your desired
photos using the title of the photo as well as which size you would
like. All orders are received via sales@mixedpaintmedia.com
Q: How do I get my pictures?
A: Once you order your photos and payment is received, your order
will be processed. You will receive email notification when your
order is processed, and when your order is shipped. Your photos will
be shipped directly to your home address. It generally takes 3 to 5
business days to receive your photos. Your photos will be processed
on professional paper just like film photography in a professional
film lab, I do not print photos on an ink jet printer.
Q: Can you photograph sporting events and post the images on your
website without the players or parents permission?
A: Yes, as long as the event occurs in a public place and is open to
the general public for viewing. All special event photography must be
arranged with directors prior to our appearance.
Q: What if I don't want my child's photograph posted for sale on
your website?
A: A quick email request referencing the photo involved will do in
most cases. The idea is to sell timeless action photographs to the
families, friends and coaches, not burden or upset anyone. We are
sensitive to each individual situation. All images used in the
advertising and promotion of Mixed Paint Media have applicable
signed releases as needed.
Q: How do I find the photo galleries of a particular event you were
photographing?
A: On the Freelance Photography Page, click on the category that
fits your event, then click on the game or gallery that matches your
interest.
Q: How long will it take to get my photographs once I order?
A: Once we confirm payment, they should go out within 3-5 business
days. A business day is Monday thru Friday.
Q: What if I have a special order request and want one of your
photographs printed on a coffee mug, sports ball, etc?
A: We work with all special requests to get them completed as
quickly as possible. If you have an idea, we will make every effort
to get it done.
Q: Why have you only done one game the entire season?
A: If we shoot one game and no parents are interested in photos, we
will not come back. It is
a simple matter of supply and demand.
Q: How can I get you to shoot our event?
A: There is direct email address for our booking services. You can
request coverage there, and we will correspond via email or
telephone. We make every effort to attend all requested events.
After confirming we have no prior obligations, we will let you know
if we can cover your event.
